Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
Sprout is a dating app for adults. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any content or behavior that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a minor results in immediate account removal and, where required, a report to the relevant authorities.
Adults only
Sprout is strictly 18+. Every account must provide a date of birth at sign-up, and accounts that misrepresent age to gain access are removed. Minors are not permitted on the service under any circumstances (see our Terms of Use).
In-app reporting
Every profile and every conversation includes Report and Block. Blocking also unmatches and hides both users from each other. Reports go directly to our team and are reviewed promptly. Users can also reach us any time via Profile -> Send Feedback in the app or by email.
How we respond
Accounts credibly reported for child safety violations are removed. Apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to other relevant authorities as required by law, and associated records are preserved as the law requires.
